Default Heated seat repair kit.

Howdy, first post here. Seems there'* a lot of great info here, but can't quite find what I need. I have an 02 Bonneville with the usual heated seat problems. (referencing this thread: https://www.gmforum.com/2000-2005-90...repair-270249/) Neither side works. I'm going to tackle it as soon as I can find a replacement part. Anyone have a part number or a place to get the kit?

Ok thanks for any info in advance.

Thanks for that. Copied and pasted the PN into Amazon. $380.74 How about Hell no. I'll definitely keep that PN in mind, though. Can't find them on Rock Auto all. The poor car has 190K on it but runs excellent.

Much appreciated. Gotta do some other maintenance though, first. I have a fuel sending unit on the way so hopefully that gets swapped as soon as I can get to it. Also, I have the TRAC and ABS lights that everyone seems to get, along with the "Service Stability System" error. I've been reading a lot on this forum and it seems to me that all three issues are caused by bad ABS sensors and/or bad wheel hubs.

Wheel hubs are a priority over a warm seat. I'm pretty sure it'* the front driver side due to all the noise it'* making. I don't have the privilege of a GM Scantool, so there'* going to be some guesswork involved.

Again, thanks for the info. I might write up another post on what I find with the wheel hub issues.

You don't need a GM scantool. Just an OBD diag device that can read ABS codes. Probably $100 or so. They are a good investment to have. Spend as much as you can afford on one and don't cheap out on the cheapest one you can find. You get what you pay for.

So, LoL, I think my problem fixed itself by getting worse. Right rear tire blew out this morning after the shaking got bad, like, REAL bad. That was a fun swap on an icy cold interstate.

The donut spare is absolutely horrible. The whole car shakes like a friggen leaf. Maybe time to jack the whole car up and start investigating things. Thing is, my whole weekend is already jammed and this NEPA winter doesn't help things.

Oh! I don't know if I've mentioned it, but everthing was fine until a few days ago when I either hit a pothole or ice, but I heard a dull pop and that'* when all the shenanigans started lol.

Get the car on a rack and have the entire suspension inspected. You probably broke something.

I don't like leaving threads w/out at least possible solutions, so here'* what I have so far. Threw the front end up on jack stands and wow it'* pretty clean under there. Left front tire has no wheel weights at all and could use an outer tie rod. The right front tire can effortlessly be turned as if using the steering wheel, but by grabbing the tire @ 9 and 3, instead. Too loose for my liking. So, combined with the TRAC, ABS lights, and the Service Stability System message on the dash, I'm thinking outer tie rods and at least one wheel hub.

Haven't checked the rear suspension, but I've fixed the flat, just haven't driven with the new tire, yet.

I replaced the fuel pump last night (just because I needed a new sending unit). GM Genuine Junk. That new pump didn't come with a sock, nor the plastic fittings, and it came with two universal gaskets. Luckily, one of them did fit. Now I have a working fuel gauge again

That'* all for now.

So a pot hole affected the heated seats. What happened to this thread?
