Is there anyone out there that did this? If so is there a write up?

it'* fairly easy there are 2 T-25 screws on the lower shroud of the colum to get it off then one or two from underneath the upper shroud to get it off then 3 on the switch itself. follow the wires down to unplug and reverse to install

Does the dash have to come off or is it just the steering column?

if you have the small set of torx bits from autozone they have the sizes engraved on the side of the bit that goes into your 1/4" nut driver

Yea got the package today, I have the bits. I never looked on the engravings on the side. It looks like a pretty simple job maybe an hour. Is it as simple ask taking the screws off and then just unplugging everything and then plugging it back in? What if and trouble did you run into? Does the Piece that is just below the column were you knees (if you tall) would hit have to come off as well? Sorry for all the questions just trying to get an idea before I rip it all appart. Is there a need to unplug the battery when doing this? Thanks again for all you help.
