Default Hard Starting!

Hello. I am new to this and thought i would give it a try. my car takes awhile to start i'm thinking it could be a few things. the fuel pump ( which i don't think because i can hear i come on when i turn the key to the acc) or could it be my fuel regulator? is there any ideas on how to check where i problem might be coming from? any help will be great.
Thanks

if you have or can borrow a pressure tester it should be 50ish when it primes and stay there for a long time, if not its likely the fpr.

Try pulling the vacuum line off the FPR and smell it. If you smell gas, then it'* bad. Also, just because you can hear the fuel pump, does not mean it'* working right. You need the correct pressure, 46-50 is what your looking for KOEO.

Just got it tested and it looks like the FPR was bad. the fuel pump was pumping 50-53 and then slowly the pressure drops. replaced the FPR and all signs are ok. Thanks alot guys this really helped.
