when driving and I hit pothole/bumps my car bounces/shakes/skips weird. What could cause this?

Sounds like at a minimum you might have a shock or two that needs to be replaced. If the wiggle and shake is in the rear, those would be the ones to replace. Always replace in pairs..one bad shock in the rear, means two new shocks in the rear and vice versa for the front.

this happens in both the front and rear of the car, in a corner it feels like it skips across the road a little
