Default gmpartsdirect delivery?

2 weeks ago, I ordered strut bearings, spring seats and the insulators from gmpartsdirect. I expected them to be here is a week or so and when they weren't, I just checked the order and it said they are on "special order".
Anyone had the same experience, either with gmpartsdirect or with these parts?

I just did a order that all items were "special order". Took 3 weeks or more to get it.

Go to the website and click on the "order status" to see what'* goin on. Pat

My rear endlink bolts took almost a week to get my confirmation email to me and they're shipping now.

It'* a big company, and most of the "Special Order" parts have to be found at a dealership somewhere in the country, sent to a central order processing place, then sent out to you.
