gmpartsdirect delivery?

gmpartsdirect delivery?
2 weeks ago, I ordered strut bearings, spring seats and the insulators from gmpartsdirect. I expected them to be here is a week or so and when they weren't, I just checked the order and it said they are on "special order".
Anyone had the same experience, either with gmpartsdirect or with these parts?

i ordered 3 special order items on sunday, and was expecting them anytime
i shot them an email, and got no reply...
started looking at the site and noticed that ordered dont ship until 7-10 days after the order....
thats bullshit!

Hey Mark how much did it hit you for? If you don't mine. I got atotal from the
dealership around $180.

i ordered a new oil pressure sender on 3-13-05 *speical order* and i just got it yesterday.. 3-23-05... that part didnt take that long.. its a napa part... damn.. i could of just went to the napa store and picked it up.. probably not for the same price huh?? well good luck to you guys with your order!! i think im going to get my strut bar...

It'* a big company, and most of the "Special Order" parts have to be found at a dealership somewhere in the country, sent to a central order processing place, then sent out to you.
