Default GM Top Engine Cleaner

Is it safe to use on our cars? I was at the dealer picking up some parts and asked if they had any so I bought a bottle, but they turned white as ghosts when I told them what car I have.

Did I miss something? Because I thought lots of members have used this stuff. :?

I prefer seafoam personally. They're basically the same, but ohhhh well.

Yes, it, like seafoam, is an excellent product. If they seemed shocked...well...then they're out of the loop.

Is this a gasoline additive or is it meant to be poured directly into the intake of the motor? I seem to recall GM having a pour-in additive for loosening carbon from the carburetor type days.

well...if its like seafoam, you can use it in your oil, gas and through the intake or carb

Maybe they looked that way because they have a fancy and expensive machine that they use with it, and they don't know any other way.
