Default Global coolant?

I was at a shop talking with the owner about dexcool and engines and such and he told me that they use Global coolant in to replace the dexcool. Anybody have any experience with this? Should I use this when I flush out the Dex?

The same as Prestone'* and other'* "all makes/all models" coolant. It'* based on the G05 coolants used for years in Europe, as well as Ford and Chrysler. I dumped the Dex, and use that "global" coolant in all the vehicles that I own and service.

I too use the Universal formula in my shop and in my vehicle. It is a yellowish color. I have not had any problems mixing the universal with the other coolants. It works great
