That combined city/hywy figure of 23-24 mpg is pretty good. You could probably get close to 28mpg all highway. And your calculations of mpg are probably more accurate than what the DIC reports although 1 mpg difference is pretty darn close. When I fill my fuel tank I usually put approximately 1 more gallon on average than what the DIC says that I used.
