I'm getting a "gas cap" error on info monitor on my car but I tighten the crap out of the cap and it does not want to go away!! The "service engine" light is on with it as well. I filled up dozens of times but this freaken gas cap BS is still flashing everytime I turn my car on as well as the "service engine" light? Should I get a new cap or what?

I also had an issue recently with that recently. The dealer had to replace the filler neck, and a few other things before it was fixed. Basically I think it will keep going until the gas tank can hold preasure so there could be a number of different issues at work.
