Default Fuel pressure regulator

I'm at 102,000 miles and wondering if I should just go ahead and replace the regulator before it bites me. Is it inevitable that these go bad or is it just luck of the draw as to whether or not they last?

luck of the draw i'd say.. and a new one isnt a 100% gaurantee that it wont fail either.

i dont recall how expensive they are.
