Default Fuel Level Sensor

I have a 2000 SSEI that does not like to tell me how much gas is in it anymore. I believe it is the Fuel Level Sensor. Has anyone ever repaired one of these? I like to do repairs myself, but do not want to get in over my head. I have heard you can access it on some cars through the trunk(?) Anyone know where I should go?!

yes, there is an access panel in the trunk, should be pretty straight forward if you have ever done a sender before

Default Sender?

Done a sender? I am assuming it is bolted/screwed in to the tank and has an electrical connector(?) Thanks for the reply!!
