Default Front window not working.

My front window stopped working, I've read some of the old post and the tech. My question is when you push the switch and hear a click sound what is that telling you is wrong? Also can you use the rear window motor regulator on the front?? What is the regulator? Is that the arm part? Or the electric part of the window? Sorry for all the questions but I would like to get this fixed before it gets toooo hot.

If you hear the click, that shows that the switch as well as the door module is working properly. Virtually every failure of the front windows has been that they bind up mechanically. Take the door apart, remove the 3 screws holding the motor onto the regulator, and that will likely free things up. The regulator is the entire assembly. Here'* a similar thread.
