Default Front tire skidding, what is wrong?

Folks, please give me some suggestion.
My regal acts up recently. Whenever I press the gas pedal a little bit hard, the front wheel on the passenger side will slip (there is no skidding from driver side). This is very annoying and scaring sometimes. I am trying to figure out what is wrong with it.

The tires are in decent shape. The only problem I am aware of the drive line is that the front wheel bearing may need replacement. I don't know if a bad wheel bearing can cause this problem? Any suggestion?

Thanks.

i believe that you have a bad caliper. a good way to test this is to jack up the front end, put the car in neuutral and try to spin the tire... it should moce relatively freely but if there'* alot of resistence, then your caliper is shot and time for a new one.

hope this helps! rich
