which front struts are best?

I have a 2003 SSEi. There is an annoying rattling in the front end which I think are the strut mounts. With 83000mi I hate to fix the mounts and not replace the struts and bearings too. So do I try to get Delco replacements or go to aftermarket. Some aftermarket struts make the car ride very stiff. I would like to regain the new car ride. Any suggestions?

My personal choice is the Monroe SensaTracs. If you want to be absolutely certain that the car will ride the same (or close) - go with the OEM struts.
