I'm curious if anyone who has had their front window regulators fail, noticed if the window was slow before the failure? I ask because on my rora the driver'* side front window is easly 5x as slow as the passenger side and it'* making squealing noises at times. I'm not sure if they just fail, or if they get slow first. On my brother'* 00 Bonneville, his just died one day, it didn't get slow or anything? Do you think the slowness of the window is a sign that it might fail soon?

Most of the failures thatr had been reported with the front windows was from binding up. Just recently one failed in a manner similar to the rears.

You may want to pull the door panel off and lube things up, including what is suggested in this link.
