Default Fog light bulb replacement

I can't seem to figure out how to take out my fog light bulb. I tried twisting and everything else one could imagine. I'm wonder if i need to take off the bumper or maybe need a specific tool to take it out.
Let me know

FOG LAMP BULB REPLACEMENT - FRONT

The "Front" seems unnecessary for a description - but that is how it is listed. Turning the bulb is the way to do it. If it is too hard that way, it would be easier to remove the fog light assembly (2 nuts) than the entire bumper.

Welcome! Please add your vehicle information to your signature. This can be helpful in situations such as this. Archon has provided a great link into the Techinfo section. There is a database here of fantastic info you may want to check out on a variety of topics when you have a moment. Take a look at the link and hopefully it will get you on your way. If you have a GXP, let us know. The procedure for these is different than other '00 - '05 Bonnevilles.

The bulbs on my 04 were a PITA to remove the first time and they still are today. It is a very snug fit.

IMO, the best way is to remove the two 10mm nuts securing the fog light assembly to bumper, disconnect the harness, then take the fog light assembly out through the front of the bumper. This way you have unrestricted access to the capsules.

and im surprised no one has mentioned this yet....

*.jones, I''m guessing youre replacing a bulb. Dont buy the Silverstar replacement bulbs. They tend to not get along with our cars. some of us have learned this the hard way.

They do twist. The first time i changed mine, i actually had to use a pair of pliers on one of the bulbs because it was so hard to turn.
