What is the **** on the top o fengine for? It is sticking out of cover.

I think we're going to need a better description, considering the 87-91 engines didn't have an engine cover like later years.

Perhaps you posted this in the wrong section?

It does have an engine cover, but doesn't cover as much as the newer ones. I'm thiking he'* probably talking about that little black **** sticking out. That is to relieve the fuel pressure on the fuel rail.

I think you may be slightly confused. A 2000 SSE doesn't exist. If you aren't sure take a picture of your car and post it. We can figure it out for ya.

And if it'* a 2000 SE, SLE, or SSEi, let'* say the **** sticking out the cover is your oil fill cap? Do you have an owner'* manual?

the only thing coming out of the cover on a 2000+ SE/SLE is the oil fill cap, a 2000+ SSEI also has a wing nut to hold the cover on i believe

the L67 do have a wingnut that attaches the cover to the */C
