Well. you won't have to worry about the passenger rears doing that.. it was replaced about a month or 2 ago with the same exact problem of cable breaking

I reread the instructions above, and all he did, really, was put a screw in there to hold the window up. Right now, I have a clamp inside the door holding it up.

If anyone has a regulator for sale, let me know. :P

Just thought of something.. they were replaced ( over $400 funny money) by OEM parts, so down the road it MAY happen again.. might want to put a screw in that one when you have a chance to prevent it from happenin to that side.. but should be fine for the time being

So, let me see if I understand this "fix":

This procedure will lock the window glass window glass up, but it does nothing to actually repair the broken regulator...right? And the window will no longer work after this repair?
