Default Dual exhuast bumper

I have a couple of questions here. I don't know much about this at all, and this is kind of a long shot, but I parked next to a new firebird the other day, and I swear it looked like our bumpers would be interchangeable. I don't know if this would actually work or even where I would go to find something like that out, short of just getting one and trying it. Plus, I'm not too sure that it would look right on a Bonneville, but I'm sure it would be easier to get a firebird bumper than a bonneville bumper. Basically, I want to get dual exhaust without making it look cheap. Has anyone ever done this? I have an SE and would be getting the SLE/SSEi bumper. But then again, would this look just as stupid as the firebird bumper, because I have that chrome strip that goes around the outside, and I'm fairly certain that the SLE/SSEi bumpers don't. Last question....where could I go to get an SLE/SSEi bumper? I tried the dealership but they said $391 unpainted, and I've never been able to find one on ebay. I would like, but don't need exact answers here. This is purely up for discussion, and all input is welcome.

Personally, I wouldn't attempt changing the rear bumper. I think there would be too many complications, but that'* me. There are several members here that have had thier SE'* fitted with dual exhaust systems, and they all look like professional installs. (keeping the original bumper) So, maybe they will chime in and give some input.

Mremer and adbear both have this done (to name a few), none have swapped out the bumper but you may be on to your own thing here.

I have the part number for an ssei bumper if you need it, all ssei'* have dual exhaust.

The problem with swapping the bumper for the SLE or SSei bumper is the extra grooves on the side of the bumper piece dont match up to anything on the SE. With the SLE and SSEi there is additional body cladding (?) on the doors and fenders, and that bumper piece becomes a part of that. If you just replace that one part it will look out of place.
