In the process of changing my door handles. How do you take off the door panels on a 2000?

I use a Wonder Bar instead of the GM tool.

Would a flat head work?

I wouldn't suggest it. You will probably damage (dent) the door panel.

yep a flathead works.... BE CAREFUL though. On my 00, i grabbed the top of the door panel, and sort of rolled it back, or pulled it back, from the window to get the top freeish... from there just work around the edges making sure that where you do pry from is very close to the pushpins. once all the pushpins are undone (its a B because when you get one side popped then start on the other, the first side tends to pop back in...) lift up and out with the door handle, and it will come off the green clip thing.

please read the directions and DO NOT start from the top. the panel needs to be lifted UP out of the channel.
