First of all, I just have to say that I really dont' like the door hinge design on the 2000+ H-body cars. The old version of hinges were a lot more smooth and quiet. The new design squeaks/makes cracking noises when the doors are opened and closed. What can be done to make the doors quiet when they're opened and closed on our cars? Both my mom'* SSEi and my Aurora have this same annoying noise when the driver'* side is opened and I've tried greasing everything and the sound persists.

The only thing that I have found that works effectively for any period of time is good old motor oil.

Hose down the hinge assembly with silicone spray. That should do the trick. I've never had that problem on the Bonne but my wife'* '99 GA GT had that problem. Silicone spray every 6 mos. fixes that.
