Do you loss head room with a sunroof on an 00-05 Bonneville?

Is it true. I don't think it can be... What are the facts?

i believe you do....becuse the sunroof has to retract into the roof,

gm4life Feb 21, 2006 06:22 PM

Nope it goes above on those. ;)

Mine retracts inbetween the roof and the headliner... I would imagine that you might loose an inch at most, but I don't have anything to compare to...

you may have been mistaken because it also tilts up so it may appear as it retracts out.

GP sunroofs retract above the roof. There are quite a few other vehicles that I have been in that do the same, just not my Bravada or Bonneville.

GP 2 door, Cavilier 2 door, a few Saturns, there are many more that are not GM too

the 00+ models have less headroom than the 92-99's but there's still enough. I'm 6'1" and my head doesn't touch the roof or anything, there's still plenty of room. (we have sunroofs in all our Bonnevilles and the Aurora's.) I've never been in a 00+ without one yet so I'm not exactly sure just how much headroom you lose.
