above the steering wheel there are 2 plastic pins, pull them down and start to pull, go slow and you'll nee to disconect a few plug connections as you pull away, so becarefull.

Remove the bezel piece on the ignition switch also. Those pins above cluster pull down, they're self locking fasteners.

After you get the instrument cluster trim off, the readio pops right out. It'* just held in with tesnsion springs.

Also, in case you didn't know, the radio (at least the BOSE version) uses a special ribbon cable for all conenctions. When you pull the radio from the car, it also disconnects itself from all connections. You can't just remove it and pop another head unit in there without buying a special adapter.

Those pin are crazy at first. I was trying 2 get them off for about 45 mins the
first time. The pins have to be pushed in, in the center to unluck them. You can use a small screwdriver or even an ink pen. After you push in the center you can just pull the pin out & like Taylor said GO SLOW. Have Fun...............

I broke my pins a couple of years ago...the trim panel still works fine. Its a whole lot easier pulling it out now since i don't have to mess with the pins anymore.
