What about the upper? Did you order or buy the APN kit?

What coolant are you putting back in? You may want to consider the Dorman elbow, not GM. More than a couple of us have had issues with the GM elbows recently.

Did you just notice it leaking around the manifold, or did it all out fail on you?

Gotcha. Mines a bit leaky, but only externally.

Milky oil? Drain your oil immediately.

It may very well be caused by the UPPER, rather than the lower gaskets. Don't do the repair without the APN kit.

well I got the upper off and I ran into a problem and the lower intake is all out except for this one bolt that is in the back and it looks like someone had been in there before and rounded off the bolt so now I am thinking I am going to get a 9 mm socket and get it to go on and then take it off that way. or dremel a slot into the bolt and take it out with a screwdriver. any help would be great

Without knowing where the bolt is, or the amount of room it'* hard to say. You could try vise grips, channel locks, a standard SAE socket, or buy something like this.

If you determine that the LIM gaskets were the cause of the coolant leak, before you consider re-installing that UIM, take a good look at the area around the base of the plastic EGR bore, probing strongly with something sharp and strong like an upholstery needle held with vise grips, or a dental pick. It it is soft, you would be gambling by re-using it as is.
