Console shifter light

Is the console shifter suppose to be lit? Mine isn't and was wondering if the bulb is bad? I have a 2005. Never mind-just found out it is suppose to!

Forth post from the bottem will help you out with the bulb number, and installation. the guy seems to know what he'* talking about.

yes there is a bulb in there. it is common that they burn out.

you must disassemble the top of the center console to get it out.
