Default Common A/C system leaks?

Hi everyone, I have done a search but did not find a thread listing A/C system leaks. Is there an area in the system on our cars that is problematic and prone to leaks such as a bracket that causes corrosion on the pipes ect...? I know some cars have certain spots that tend to be a common place to leak refrigerant.

Thanks

To my knowledge there are no specific areas that have issues. The most common failures we see are compressors. As for leaks, it seems to be a crap shoot and dye checking usually that leads to a seal kit.

Thanks Billboost37 for the response. I had the typical drivers side was getting warm awhile ago and finally this week in the heat of course no a/c. Its my wife'* car so I don't really know when it quit. She likes the windows open rather than the climate control on. I will have to check it for a leak next week when I am back at work. I happen to have my gauges at home right now and they are reading zero. Well I guest its time to fix my own car for a change You know the shoemakers shoes...

I know all too well. I've been ignoring my issues for a while as well.

Sorry that I didn't have a quick easy "replace X piece" answer for you.
