Default Chasing an oil leak

I am still chasing this oil leak around. It looks to be coming from up higher and now that I have new oil in it, the leaks are light in color also. So I am putting two and two together. I still suspect power steering too, but with the color change to coincide with the oil change I am thinking oil. Where are some places that thing could leak that bad from the rear of the engine, above the oild pan level. LIM??? Rear valve cover? I don't see any from the top but it is definately a problem from the bottom. I just can't see up in there far enough. Even with it clean.

I think he means the fire wall side of the engine when he says rear of the engine versus the tranny end which is really the rear side of the engine.

The easiest way to check for leaks is to get an inspection mirror and flashlight or shop light. Work the mirror around the circumference of the engine. Easy as that. You can look at some amazingly hidden areas with a small mirror. If you see seepage or leakage follow it up to the highest area that is wet. That will lead you to the source.

Is your leak definitely oil, or might it be antifreeze? Whatever, your mirror will find the source.
