Default center console

The light behind the console shift iindicater is out again. It did that one other time but it came back on by itself. How can I get that panel up to see if it is a lose connection or bad buld? I hope I have this on the right list. It is a 2000 SSEi.

The panel that surrounds your shifter and PRND321 indicators just lifts up. What i do is stick my finger under the panel in the PRND321 indicator area at the point where 1st gear would be selected.

If that doesn't work, this link will tell you how to remove the panel.

Yours might not be out. It could be a number of things causing you to not see the light. In my case, it was a plastic piece that was broke and caused the shift indicator to not move You should open your console first to see exactly what'* goin on.
