Ok, just got off the phone with the mechanic I took it to. It set the throttle position sensor code again.. so he replaced that, then it set the code again. He is at a loss and is done working on it. So what should I do now? Take it somewhere else, or take it to the dealership? (please, not the dealership..). We really don't have many tools here to work on it well. But I was going to try and follow all the wires leading off of sensors to see if they are damaged.. (especially the TPS wire). Any other advise from anyone?
Thanks

I don't know exactly, I just know it was the throttle body position sensor code.. maybe about it failing? As far as the number, i'm unsure.

If you get the code then I'll give you the troubleshooting chart for it.

OK sorry for the wait, but I made it to Autozone today. My car threw P0122, it was on there twice. Throttle Position Low or something. Thanks again!

Check your TPS sensor. It may be faulty and only showing like 25 percent throttle even if you floor it, that would definately make the car slow.

It'* been replaced twice. Once with a known working one and then with a new one.

Check the wiring to the TPS sensor and maybe trace it to through the wiring harness.

I think the code is leading you in the right direction.

We did a big install for a guy which included a TPS extension harness, turns out that was wired backwards, so at idle the pcm saw 100% and at WOT it saw 0%... amazingly enough it ran great at mid throttle! hahaha

Check the harness!
