I need to do the front brakes on the wifes 2001 ssei.

I want to put vented/slotted rotors on the front with ceramic pads. Best place and PRICE to get them from.

#2- What tool do I need for the caliper bolts? Torx and if so what size or just a 3/8 allen?

When I went to drilled and slotted rotors I got them on Ebay from R1 concepts I believe it was. Here they are. eBay My World - r1concepts For pads I went to autozone. Not the best ceramic pads, but OK, I'm sure I'll be switching to something better soon. Very happy with the rotors, great price.

Here they are after more then 6 months.

I went with EBC slotted and drill rotors and EBC ceramic pad on my 2000 SSEi. I love them. You'll need a good set of 3/8 drive metric sockets, a torque wrench, C-Clamp, needle nose pliers, metric wrenches, brake cleaner, rags, and brake fluid.

That'* all you will need. Front brakes are easy and don't require and special tools. Rear disk brakes need a special turn in tool.
