Ok... the car still shuts off after replacing the air control valve it did not fix the problem..however, my mechanic wanted to replace the new ac delco fuel pump he put in to rule that out..it was installed today..so far on my way home i tried punching it on the street and it did not shut down.
I'm crossing my fingers that this was the issue a defected new pump...I'll know more tomorrow when i take it on the expressway.

It seems that the new ac delco pump might be the culprit..I floored it the expressway and it did not shut down however.. going back home it did shut down once but the engine was still cold.. by the time i got back home it behaved even with hard accelerations...I guess i will give it a few days before i'm convinced.

Thanks for the suggestion Michael..Before swapping out the new fuel pump with another new one.. I soddered the wires to make sure that was not the problem..the new ac delco fuel pumps come with a different connection so had to snip the wires to make it work..the new pumps also come without the bottom strainer i think its internal.
