Default BONNEVILLE shuts down after hard acceleration

Hello, i am hoping someone can help me diagnose my problem. My 2000 bonneville ssei shuts down after hard acceleration, for example, when i punch the throttle all the way down and let go the car will shut off but it will start right back up. If i gradually pick up speed the car will run fine. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Is your SES light on? If so, what codes are showing? Is your air filter clean? When was your fuel filter changed last?

sometimes the pumps start to lose pressure before they go completely. the regulator could be bad. you have a pressure gauge i would look at that

Thanks for the reply...I should of mentioned that the pump was just replaced last week..
what was happening last week was that the car did not want to start after it would warm up but start rite up in the morning..
so i rushed to the mechanic and he let it run and it would shut off after every 10min'* so he check the fuel pressure and it was weak..so he replaced fuel pump and problem went away but now i have this new problem after hard acceleration it shuts down.

I'm wondering if the IAC(idle air control) valve is not recovering quick enough from the sudden decrease from full throttle to nothing.
