Mac - this is a quote from the last part of the strut installation process from Alldata.....

Important: Perform a front wheel alignment after installing the strut.

yep.

i am willing to put money on it that the camber is out of spec on that wheel that you took the strut off of

In looking at the drawing, it looks the same as 87-99, thanks for chiming in guys.

MAC.. it does appear that you may want to get an alignment.

Well the car goes down the road straight as an arrow with my hands off the wheel. That was the first thing I checked after reinstalling the strut. Is it possible for the camber the be way off and still drive straight?

yes, it'* possible. but you won't know till you see bad tire wear. you do know you can do the strut bearing change/repack without removing the lower bolts?

unless camber is WAY off it will not greatly affect drivability, but will still create i huge change in tire wear.

just because the car drives straight doesnt mean that the alignment is good

Actually guys.. Travis unbolted it from the top and lowered the A-Arm as far as it would go.

He told me before and I was hesistant to think someone would do it that way and have enough room, he assured me ...there was just enough room.
