bad cat
You'll get the least amount of fuss if you can find an OE cat. However, this is your chance to eliminate one of the biggest bottlenecks in your exhaust system, and high-flow cats are also an option. It depends on what you want out of your car, really.

I jst dnt want the cheapest thing on my car. Whts the benefit to yhe straight neck and wldnt I have to get the whole pipe replaced instead of jst the cat???
The high-flow cats let exhaust flow more freely through the system, giving you a potential gain in horsepower at the expense of fouler emissions (which your state'* inspections may or may not care about).
I have no experience with getting my cat replaced, though mine is also dead enough to set the P0420 code (low catalyst efficiency).
I'm told the OE'* last longer than the universals, but it all depends on what your wallet can stomach right now.
