Keep me posted. My PVC wrapped with Reflectex is still doing the job but I'd love something more durable.....and I'm just iching for a PCM upgrade.

Chad - actually, you can't do ANY of these things with a Tech II, except for the driver greeting.

really I read some where that you could adjust the
powersteering and greeting display.

now I assumed that cuz it had bi-dirctional data control, and could write information to the PCM, that it could do thoes other things. Ive never seen/owned/operated a gm tech 2. just making a guess.

I figured for that price that tool would wash the car also.

You're right - you can also adjust the Magnasteer setting to one of three levels. I missed that in your post above.

How adjustable are the rev limiter and shift point settings. I am assuming for liability reasons (warranties & such) they can't set the rev limiter much over the factory redline, and they probably can't set the shiftpoints higher than redline, correct?

And like Scott said, the Tech 2 can't do a lot of those things.

ASE is about to get a North American affiliate and so the option will soon be a safe option again. No time line as of yet. I will confirm and let you know.

Always good to have some options other than shipping into a 3rd world country where you may never see it again.
