I didn't know where to post this so i thought here was good. Ok i have a 2002 SSEI and i bought it two weeks ago. W hen i got in the car it started by itself. How did that happen it had my profile on the dash and everything.

that is really weird....do you have any extra key fobs that look like aftermarket?

and your name and such can be programmed when you start the car

mmm, a lot of dealers are adding them, oem style or aftermarket. Is the key flob OEM or aftermarket? I'm guessing you bought the car at a dealer...

only buttons on my key thing are unlock, lock, trunk, and panic button

So, then which one do you push for the car to start? Does the remote say GM on it to indicate it is OEM?

Thats really werid... The have trunk, lock, unlock, and panic button nothing more. I never new there was a starter. Could be after market! Werid but hey thats kinda cool...
