Default anybody have a tow hitch?

I'm looking into getting one installed so that I can transport my mountain bike and was wondering if anyone else has one and if they look neat and tucked like they claim or sloppy. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
Here is one I'm looking at.

Had one on a 95 when I picked it up. Didn't look bad at all.

Willwren has one on his 95.. somewhere you should be able to find pics... however I haven't heard of any 00+'* that have installed them. Don't think we have any pics of your gen with one yet.

Once you do install...please take pics and share.

The only issues I have is the weight of the hitch, around 40 lbs. Plus, I'm debating if I want to connect the wiring.

I used a flush connector on my SSEi, hidden just out of sight under the rear bumper cover. This required me to extend the harness on my trailer to reach. It'* a small black plastic receptacle with a black plastic cap. Not visible at all.

Now that the hitch is on the SLE, I've left the wiring in the trunk, reinforced it, and simply pull it out and close the trunk on it when I need it. I don't tow much any more.

Now what about my dual exhaust? Does the tow hitch go neatly around it? I want a nice, neat, professional look.

Being SSEi'* .. My 95 and Willwrens 93, the hitches were provisioned to work with dual exhaust.

Not sure on an 00+ though. I assume it would have to be checked when you research the different brands and models.

Bill is correct. The previous gen SSEi hitch is required for SSEi/SSE models. The SE hitch will not work with dual-outlet applications. The SSEi hitch will work for an SE however (maybe....it'* possible the single SE outlet might pose a problem due to location).

You need a hitch specifically listed for your application.
