well I had seafoamed the car with the ngk plugs in so I think that has something to do with it. now the car feels better and it went away by itself. the plugs were not pretty maybee that had something to do with it

Did the "check gas cap" come up on the DIC, or did the check engine light come on? The check gas cap riddle I was working on gave a code of p0440 when it showed up with just the message on the DIC. If it goes too long, it will then set the SES which gave a second code of p0442.

I was going to say that if the code was P0452, that would be the fuel tank pressure circuit and you might need a new fuel tank pressure sensor. It'* a piece of cake to change since it'* right on top of the fuel pump.
