When you were putting in refrigerant, did you have the car running? I'm wondering about the pressure differential you obtained from 25 to 33 psi.

How did you determine it'* the low pressure switch that was defective?

Some times, the switches just have bad contacts inside it. so i usually check for continuity through the sensor and for voltage at the connector. if you have voltage at the connector, apply power directly to the clutch. If it engages and stays engaged, then its the switch.
