adding automatic climate control

Can an automatic climate control be popped into a car without it? My friend has an 02 SE IIRC with the base climate control and the backlighting is all messed up on it so I suggested he get an auto CC since I know of a bunch I can get my hands on

I know in 92-99 there was a different blower box, HVAC control unit, wiring etc etc. 1993SLE was going to try it and the further he looked into it, the less it seemed worth the time and effort it would take to disassemble the car to do it. On an 00+... it is logical that it would be tough as well.

there are ALOT of parts that would needed to be swapped for the 00+ Auto CC

were talking the ENTIRE dash harness, CC head, BCM, DIM, IPC and maybe more
