i have yet to find an over big enough to put that center in.LOL once you get it off just epoxy it it will seal fine plus your going to clear it so you will need to epoxy it anyways you can access them through the back of the deck lid i would suggest usinf long bent nose needle nose pliers the clips are vertical with a lock on either side you probably have yours bent way out left and right by now but that'* all the advice i have for ya sorry

I have a pair of forceps that are really long and strong. I was able to get the clip to collapse and then popped them out. It wasn't easy and it did take a considerable amount of time.

nope the ones for the 2000+ are on the back side of the applique and very hidden up behinf the yellow reflector

What Sawgunner said. I can get the carpet off no problem Even didn't have trouble taking off the 10mm nuts from the bolts. I just couldn't get the damn clips to pop.

I would take pics but I'd have to undo everything again. No thanks.
