If you have a heat gun, try heating up the ICM. If the engine dies, the ICM is bad. Electrical tends to be like a switch, fuel pressure tends to stutter and then die. Crank sensor can cause a shut down.

I had the crankshaft sensor and the fuel pressure regulator replaced and it is still stalling at idle. The mechanic says maybe EGR Valve. Any thoughts?

Could be a dirty throttle body, a bad PCV valve, or EGR valve.

Well it wasnt the EGR Valve. Now we are going to try the ignition switch and the body control module and maybe a camsensor.

What do you think? I hope something works.

Well i picked up my car saturday and today it stalled on me again. The last he tried was an ignition swtich and a cam sensor. He is out of ideas. Should I take it to a pontiac service department? Please help me?

had the same issue on my 02 bonny. after almost a year of checking and having no where else to turn i removed the ignition switch, removed the rear of the switch and cleaned the contacts. problem solved
