My 2001 Bonneville SE started making a loud noise when I turned up the fan. Now, even at setting one, there are lots of clicks and noise coming through. Air still coming through but the thing is dying. Is there a description of how to replace the motor/fan (hoping this is the problem)? I found something about the 2005 GXP but don't know if that procedure is identical to the 2001. Is the AC Delco part usually used?

I have a little experience in the area, if you take of the cover below the glove box, you will find the blower motor, now what you may want to check is the inside of the squirrel cage to make sure that there is no trash, as that may be the issue that you are experiencing, once you can see the whole setup, it is pretty self-explanatory on how to replace the motor if that is the issue...
