2000 SSEI Sunroof Keeps Opening
Hey Gang....
My first post here
I've got a question for you. I bought an off lease 2000 SSEI a few months ago, and have an issue with the sunroof. It seems like every time someone enters or exits the car the sunroof opens slightly, because I'll hear wind noise at speed. I just open it more and then close it and it seals up fine, no more noise.
What is going on? I don't think it'* the seal, because opening it and then closing it fixes the problem, and there are no leaks. Are the roofs programmable? Meaning could the original owner have programmed the roof in their driver preferences to open slightly?
Thanks In Advance

I think you are having an airtight issue. Meaning that when a door is closed the air needs to go somewhere and is pushing the seal on the roof open to vent the excess air.
Try this. Crack open a window and try opening and closing the door. Then close the window and see if you still get the noise.

That'* odd, when does it happen? Key off or door open?.
