Default 2000 SSEi brake help!

i am working on installing drilled/slotted rotors on my 2000 SSEi. everything fits into place as it should but when i go to push the piston back into the caliper it does not move in. i have tried loosening the bleed screw and even taking it out, but the piston will not move. a quick response is very much appreciated
thanks!

If you are working on the rear brakes, the piston has to be turned in. There are a few threads about it. DO NOT try to compress the piston in too much, or you can damage the caliper!

Also, if working on the front brakes, make absolutely sure that you are pushing the piston in squarely. Any little bit off center will jam the piston up and may cause damage to the caliper / piston if you try to hard to compress it.
