stupid one here...but, my new car has a regular old looking rear view mirror in it. reminds me of one out of a plain old jane car. just a mirror.

Would the SLE come with a mirror like this...in this year? i mean, the car doesn't have onstar.... and the side mirros are heated and autodim or whatever...so, why would i have a janky rearview?

im thinking someone broke the original and put this in..but i wanted to be sure. i can buy originals off of ebay.....

i am going to check behind the headliner to see if there is a connector stuffed in there for a rear view..right now there is no wire hanging down, but there is a small notch on edge of headliner where a wire could come out of...

simple i know...but still i want to know

your SLE should have any autodimming mirror in it. Can you get a picture of what you have?

I have the same mirror. I was going to go autodim but I don't know if the wiring is behind the headliner or not...

sounds like i better check under the headliner before i get to far buying another one...
