Can anyone tell me exactly how to remove the front mount? I'm talking exactly where to put the jack and stands. I've never done this before and I don't want to screw anything up. Do I jack the car/motor up? I need all the help I can get. Thanks all in advance!

I did the hockey puck mod to my car not long after I bought it, and love it. I put a rubber bushing between the head of the bolt and the metal frame it goes through, but not one on top.

There is a touch of vibration under load between 1000-1750 rpm, but goes away after that. IMO, it makes the car feel more aggressive and sport oriented than the sloppy, cushy stock mount.

I think I will try this since I have had an old tire tread laying out in the garage for a couple years. The wife is always all about throwing stuff away, but I am the one who sees the potential of what some people call trash. Once you throw something away, there always comes a use or value for it!

Where did you install the tire section in the puck mount?
