Should I lube the intermediate shaft now that it is "creaking" or have you all found that it is better to purchase a new one? Does the newer one solve the problems? I have seen a Dorman shaft on Ebay....is that one better than the GM OEM device?

Not sure if I should get the lube and do it myself to OEM shaft I have now or go out and order the Dorman or newer GM OEM shaft?

What is the best route to take on this issue?

as tight as the I-shaft is to access on the h-bodies, I would replace it and be done with it..
