2000 bonne trunk leak
My brothers 2000 bonneville has a leaky trunk. I have search a little here and founf some info. My brother and I are pretty sure it is due to the spoiler. My brother said he got all the bolts loose on the spoiler but was able to get it off. Is there a certain tool or procedure that removes it?
Thanks for any help.

Also easy thing to check is If he has a sunroof, pull the carpet out of the trunk and on the sides where the fenders are you will see a tube coming down on both sides. These are for the sunroof drains and they come un-attached very easily. I had one that came undone and that was flooding my trunk.

well that'* what the tube is for, 2000 ssei as far as i can tell i only have one tube, drivers side. I returned it ti its original location but farther up that rear cross-base still leaks. I'm
almost to the point of having the rear window removed and reset
After reading these posts I went out and fixed my trunk leak in less than 5 minutes. There is a sunroof drain line on both sides under the side carpets, my passenger tube was disconnected. A little glue and it was back on, no sweat!
Thanks a ton for all of the help!!!

if anyone digs up this post... the 2000 does indeed have a tube on each side. my passenger side tube was clogged with tree junk and the water was backing up out the top of the tube even though the tube was in place, much like my roof gutters
