Default 180 or 160 Thermostats?

What would be the best choice for me? I live in a pretty warm/hot state that being Arizona would 160 be the logical choice? I see a lot of people using 180* is it preference or completely based on where you live? :?:

180 for your stock mods now.
I would think with intake and exhaust work, new pcm you could run 160 down there?

I would suggest a 180. If you go with a 160 you will need to have your PCM reprogramed to turn on the fan

Thanks.

180 for now.
160 once I get more mods, sounds good!

When I drive the car the temp sits around 200 or just a little pass that'* ok I presume for the bonnes?
